FAQ

Q:  What is needed to save the date?

A:  We require a signed wedding contract and a non-refundable $200 deposit that is applied to the total amount due. The remaining amount as well as the custodial and damage deposits are due TWO weeks before your wedding date.

Q:  Are there any restrictions on decorations?

A:  Living flowers or greenery are welcome for pew decorations, bouquets or at the front of the church. However, petals scattered on the way to the altar must be artificial even if using an aisle runner. Also, all candles, unless for a unity ceremony, must be LED.

Q:  Do you allow alcohol on the premises?

A:  No.  As a religious organization, we are not licensed to have alcohol on site.

Q:  What do guests do about parking?

A:  There is a small lot behind the buildings and plenty of free street parking. Even if you have a large number of guests, no one should have to walk more than a block.

Q:  Is there a sound system available?

A:  We have a sound system any MP3 player can be connected to. You must provide your own music player.

Q:  Am I required to have a coordinator?

A:  No. Most brides find our wedding representative can handle any request or question you have. You do need a designated contact person to handle deposit returns, in case something is left behind and anything else that may arise.

Q:  Is there a kitchen on site for use?

A:  There is a full kitchen in Wooten Hall for serving or warming food. Caterers can use the space for serving as well.

Q:  Do you have Preferred Vendors?

A:  We do not. There are several we recommend based on the satisfaction of previous brides and grooms.

Q: What is your satisfactory rate?

A: Several couples who got married became members of the church. If not, most keep in contact and share updates and memories of their special day.
