FAQ

Q:  What is required to save the date?

A:  We require a signed wedding contract and a non-refundable $200 deposit which is applied to the total amount due. The remaining amount as well as the custodial and damage deposits are due TWO weeks before your wedding date.

Q:  Are there any restrictions on decorations?

A:  While we welcome flowers of any kind (the more the better), petals are not allowed other than in bouquets and decorations.  If scattered along the aisle runner, they must be artificial. Also, other than being used for a unity ceremony, all candles must be LED.

Q:  Do you allow alcohol on the premises?

A:  No.  Our building is not licensed and because it is a church, alcohol is not permitted on site.

Q:  What do our guests do about parking?

A:  We have a small lot behind the buildings and street parking is ample and free. Even if you have a large number of guests, no one should have to walk more than a block.

Q:  Is there a sound system available?

A:  We do have a sound system any MP3 player can be connected to. You must provide your own music player.

Q:  Am I required to have a coordinator?

A:  No. Most brides find that our wedding representative can handle just about any request or question you have. It is necessary to have a designated contact person in case something is left behind, to handle deposit returns and anything else that may arise.

Q:  Is there a kitchen on site for use?

A:  There is a full kitchen in Wooten Hall that can be used for serving or warming food. Caterers are welcome to use the space for serving as well.

Q:  Do you have Preferred Vendors?

A:  We do not. However, there are several we recommend (whether for photography, dresses, reception sites, flowers etc.) based on the satisfaction of previous brides.
